He was born on the 2nd of July in 1966 in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing elementary school, he enrolled and in 1985, completed his Technical high school education in Livno, BIH, for the profession of electrical engineer- technician, level IV complex profession.
In 1986, he began studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Split, Croatia, and successfully finished them in 1991 with the title of Electrical Engineer-Energy, University degree.
After studies, he went to Berlin, Germany, where he stayed from 1992 to 1998, doing different kinds of work in the field and outside the profession. In 1998 he came back to his homeland, Montenegro, building a new home, starting over again to create a new life.
In the period from November 2003 to June 2006, he was employed at the Institute of Measures and Precious Metals in Belgrade, as the head of Metrology Development Sector.
Since July 2006 he has been working in the field of metrology in Montenegro, in the Bureau of Metrology in Podgorica. Currently he is serving as the Head of the Department for certification of standards.
In June 2012, at the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, he gained the title of Master of Technical Sciences, Department of quality.
He has decades of experience in the field of metrology, speaks English, German and Italian language. He has participated and attended numerous national and international trainings, seminars and committees in the field of metrology and quality, and published works in this field both in domestic and international journals for quality.
He is married and father of one. He is passionate fan of antiques, motorcycles, as well as of creating unique handicrafts.
