Students from „Spasoje Raspopović“ High School visit BoM

First grade students from „Spasoje Raspopović" vocational high school from Podgorica visited laboratories at the Bureau of Metrology.

During this visit, the Bureau's employees have presented main activities of the institution and its national calibration laboratories as well as information regarding the new definitions of the International System of Units (SI).

During the visit, the students have had an opportunity to see the national measurement standards and attend certain simpler measuring procedures performed in the national calibration laboratories in the field of metrology of mass, pressure, length, electrical quantities, temperature, time and frequency, volume, as well as in the Laboratory for Electrical Power.

Students from „Spasoje Raspopović" school also visited the Bureau of Metrology in 2017. The aim of this visit was for them to get acquainted with the competence of the Bureau of Metrology, as well as to undergo a professional practice stint at the Department for Precious Metals.

In May last year, director of the Bureau of Metrology, Vanja Asanović PhD, and the director of the vocational high school „Spasoje Raspopović“ Ljeposava Vuksanović signed an agreement on performing a professional practice for the students of that school at the Bureau of Metrology.
