BoM’s Employees Participate in Interlaboratory Comparison in the Field of Volume

On 15 and 16 March 2018, the Bureau of Metrology’s employees attended the realization of the interlaboratory comparison - volume measurement of horizontal tanks in Kutina, Croatia.

Measurements have been carried out using the electro-optical measuring instruments (total stations) and laser-scanning technology.

Interlaboratory comparison of volume measurement has been realized with a view to improving the infrastructure and quality in the region, promoting good practice examples, exchanging experiences and strengthening regional support.

In addition to the Bureau of Metrology, National Metrology Institutes from Serbia (Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals) and Croatia (State Office for Metrology) have also participated in the comparison, as well as the representatives from “PTSI -Integrisani tehnički servisi“ Ltd from Croatia, „DELTA PETROL“ Kakanj Ltd from Bosnia and Herzegovina and NIS A.D. from Novi Sad.

The organizer of the interlaboratory comparison is Vekom Geo Ltd, a company based in Belgrade.
