Training in the Field of Geodesy

Details

The training course intended for the staff of the Bureau of Metrology to be carrying out verification and calibration of measuring instruments used in geodesy was held in the Bureau's premises, 16 to 20 July 2018.

The training was given by Ankica Milinković from a Belgrade-based company - Vekom Ltd.

During the training, the Bureau of Metrology's employees were acquainted with the use of professional equipment such as the level, total station, laser distance meter and GPS/GNSS device. Furthermore, procedures for examination of geodetic measuring devices were also presented.

Plans are afoot to establish a Laboratory for verification/ calibration of measuring instruments used in geodesy in the Bureau of Metrology.
